Samuel Adam Mauney, age 28, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Adam was a native of Lincolnton, North Carolina, and was born on Labor Day weekend of September 2, 1995. Adam was the son of the Kevin Mauney and the late Patricia Beard Mauney. Adam has worked for Hickory Contracting for several years as a chair frame builder for the furniture company there in Hickory.
Left to remember the life of this young man is his Dad, Kevin Mauney and stepmom, Darlene; brother, Sean Mauney and his wife Jessica; sister, Leah Elliott and her husband, Richard; nephew, Richard Elliott and four nieces, Rosalind and Hallie Mauney, and Naomi and Kalei Elliott.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
