Mr. Samuel Edwards McDaniel, 77, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. Services were held at The A.C. McKinney Chapel. Burial followed in Good Sheperd Memorial Park, Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. McDaniel served our country in the U.S. Army–Korean Conflict in the Fourth Infantry Division, Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Van and Fola Caroline Wilson McDaniel.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean Hefner McDaniel of the home; 1 son, Timothy Lee Morton and wife Linda of Boiling Springs, SC; 2 brothers, Robert O. McDaniel and Joe McDaniel, both of Ellenboro; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces.
