Shelby - Samuel "Sammy" Raymond Greene, 70 of 1316 Barbee Road, Lot 13,
Shelby passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System
- Cleveland.

Born May 24, 1945 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Samuel
Pinkney Greene and Doris Bowling Greene. He was retired from the City of
Kings Mountain. Sammy was a member of Ledford Grove Baptist Church where he
served as a deacon.

Survivors include three daughters, Beth Bailes and husband, Dean of Shelby,
Shelly Miller and husband, Steve of Ellenboro and Tammy Greene and David
Burton of Shelby; brother, David Greene of Casar; two sisters, Brenda
Jackson and Pat Jackson both of Kings Mountain; five grandchildren, Josh
Burton, Brandi Miller, Ian Goforth, Matt Miller and Wesley Burton; five
great-grandchildren and mother of his children, Jackie Davis Greene.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home & Cremation Center

Funeral Service will be 2:30 PM, Wednesday at Ledford Grove Baptist Church
with Rev. Jackie Price officiating. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery.
