Sandra Gwyn Crumpton Hendrix, age 56 of Woodbeach Lane passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. She was born February 9, 1961 in Gaston County to the late Rev. Julius Miles Crumpton and Kathryn Sue Helms Crumpton. Sandra was employed at Walmart in Denver. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching tv, especially crime and detective shows. She was an avid Carolina Panthers fan. Sandra's greatest hobby was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her companion of 21 years, Floyd Jr. Anderson; children, Tabitha Hendrix of Charlotte, Tori Anderson of Denver, and Travis Lee Anderson of Denver; step-son, Tony Anderson of Iron Station; grandchildren, Makayla Kathryn and Justin Ray; sister, Kathy Williamson (Rick) of Lincolnton; brothers, Mike Crumpton of Elloree, SC, and David Crumpton (Joyce) of Shelby; and numerous other friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 4:30 PM at Victory Life Assembly of God with Chaplain David Crumpton officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 at the church prior to the service.
