Sandra Jean Black Patterson, 58, of North Dr. passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 21, 1959 in Cleveland County to the late Albert Eugene "Bud" Black and Joyce Ann Hyder Black. She was previously employed at Howell Mill, Dollar General and Walmart and attended the House of Prayer in Fallston. Sandra loved her daughters and grandchildren and took pride in her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Kevin and Danny Black.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Steve Patterson; daughters, Jeanie "Angel" Price and husband, Derrick of Lawndale and Brandy Helms and husband, Kenneth of Cherryville; grandchildren, Dalton Price, Dan Helms, Nate Helms, Caleb Helms and Courtnie Price; siblings, Sammy Black, Mike Black and wife Doris, and Cindy Gregg and husband, Mike.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Clyde Price officiating. Burial will be private. Family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:45 PM.
