Sandra Self Braswell, 51, of Berea Ave. Ext., Connelly Springs, passed away
Thursday, March 27, 2014 at her home.
She was born on August 1, 1962 in Cleveland County to Clarence and Betty
Self. She was a lifetime member and former assistant chief of Burke County
Rescue.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of ten years,
Frank Wesly Braswell, Sr.; two sons, Donnie Daniels and Scotty Daniels;
stepson, Frank Wesly Braswell, Jr.; brother, Dwight Self; two sisters, Hilda
Causby and Linda White; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stamey
Funeral Home, Fallston. Condolences may be made online at

The funeral will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Stamey Funeral Home
Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Welch and Rev. Eddy Bunton officiating. The
burial will follow in the Carpenters Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
