Sandra Walker Thomas, 52 of 1442 Arlee Road and formerly of Blacksburg, SC. passed away, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Carolina Medical Center Charlotte. 

Born February 26, 1961 in Cherokee County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Ralph Walker and the late Margie Addis Walker of Gaffney. Mrs. Thomas was a production worker at Allied Plastics in Shelby.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by husband, Steve Thomas.

In addition to her father she is survived by her daughter, Katie Thomas Owens and two grandchildren Thomas Sutton and Michael Newton Jr. of Shelby; a brother, Clint Walker and wife, Sherry of Blacksburg, SC; her sisters, Jacqueline Leatherwood and husband, Robert of Woodruff, SC; Annette Skelton and husband, Charles of Seneca, SC and Vanessa Price and husband, Raymond of Roebuck, SC.

Services will held at a later date.   The family will be at the home of the daughter, Katie, 1442 Arlee Road, Lot 4, Shelby, NC.
