Mrs. Sarah Ashe Grayson passed away on January 7th, 2024 at Peachtree Center.

Born in York, she was the widow of Isaac Charles Grayson and the daughter of the late William Grier Ashe Sr. and Mary Lucille McManus Ashe. She was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church in York.

Surviving Mrs. Grayson are two sons, William Franklin "Billy" Grayson and James Isaac Grayson (Lisa); one daughter, Bonnie G. Sanford (Lee); eight grandchildren, Jordan Grayson (Brandi), Thomas Grayson (Rita), Megan Childers (Kevin), Sully Childers (Logan), Hunter Grayson (Hunter), Cameron Wilborn (Justin), and step-grandson, Cameron Sanford (Alix); and 15 great-grandchildren, Braylee, Kaylee, Avery, Kolton, Kyler, Emma, Kayleigh, Erin, Camden, Corbin, Gage, Karter, Elizabeth, Kyle, and Autumn.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Grayson was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Grayson, and her brother, William Grier Ashe Jr.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 from 5:00-6:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Memorial services will immediately follow at 6:30 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Danny Sexton officiating.
