Cliffside - Sarah Daphine Jones Greene died peacefully the evening of Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Our loving mother went to be with her Lord and her loved ones that were waiting for her with open arms. Daphine was born July 19, 1936 to the late Theron Jones and Viola Harris Jones.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Weldon Greene, one brother Dan Jones and a sister Rachel Crawley.

Left to cherish her memories are two daughters Amanda Greene Bostic and husband Jerry, Patty Greene Garner and husband David. She will also be missed by grandchildren Michael Greene and Jennifer and Zachary Garner and great-grandchildren Amanda Brooke Barnett and husband Hunter, Matthew Brian Greene and Damien Maddox Greene. Daphine will be greatly missed but left us with many precious memories.

Services will be 11:00am Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Prospect Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Dixon officiating the service. A visitation will be held from 10:00am - 11:00am prior to the service.

She will be laid to rest at Prospect Baptist Church cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorials may be made to Prospect Baptist Church 2610 Prospect Church Rd., Mooresboro, NC 28114, Cliffside Baptist Church 220 Old Main St., PO Box 336 Cliffside, NC 28024 and Hospice of The Carolina Foothills PO Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
