Blacksburg -- Sarah Fowler Powell, 24, of 345 White Farm Road, passed away Monday, December 21st, 2015, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Levi Powell and the daughter of Catina Henderson of Gaffney. Mrs. Powell worked as a waitress and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Powell is survived by one son, Jaxon Levi Powell, of the home; two brothers, Dennis Fowler of Gaffney and Markus Crow of the home; three sisters, Aaliyah Henderson of Gaffney, Danica Henderson of Gaffney, and Candice Fowler of North Carolina; and her maternal grandmother, Gloria Henderson, of Gaffney.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 24th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Rev. Grady Gregory officiating. .
