Sarah Jane Wellmon Towery, age 97, died on March 27, 2016 at Wendover Hospice. Born in Cleveland County, NC on July 6, 2918 she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Ella Costner Wellmon and retired from Brian Beam Rest Home in Cherryville, NC. Sarah enjoyed gardening and she also had a few favorite TV shows she enjoyed. Sarah is preceded in death by her husband Fred Hunter Towery.
