| Scams: Don’t Be A Victim Sheriff’s Deputies To Explain Dangers |

Capt. Joel Shores and Brian Gordon of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department will present program on scams and frauds Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Neal Senior Center in Shelby.
They will discuss current scams and frauds and explain how to avoid being a victim of crime.
This is event is free of charge and open to the public. It is part of the regular Coffee and Conversation events sponsored by Journey: a coalition to educate the community about end-of-life issues.
The program begins at noon with a light lunch hosted by Sterling House and Carillon Assisted Living and ends at 1 p.m.
