Scotty "Scott" Ray Beaver, 50, of Shelby, went home on Friday, August 15,
2014 peacefully at his residence.
Born April 12, 1964 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Margie Head Beaver
of Shelby and the late Billy Dean Beaver. Scott was a long term employee of
Beam Construction in Cherryville and was a member of Community Baptist
Church. He was an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne
Beaver.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Beaver; mother, Margie of Shelby;
daughter, Alicia Beaver of Shelby; step daughter, Brandy Sipe and husband,
T.J. of Lincolnton; brother, Phil Beaver and wife, Wanda of Fallston; niece
and nephews, Chris & Tia Beaver, Austin and Payton of Lawndale, Mike Beaver
and Tyler of Lawndale, Ashley & Dave Shrewsbury, Madison and Landon of
Gastonia, and Gary Beaver of Shelby, and faithful companion, Jake.
Visitation, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Monday, Community Baptist Church, Shelby
Funeral Services, 1:00 PM, Monday, at Community Baptist Church, Shelby
Officiating: Rev. Pete Bridges
Burial: Will follow in the church cemetery
Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Cleveland
County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
