Service providers needed

If you are a knowledgeable professional from a discipline that can contribute to the success of entrepreneurs and small businesses, we need and encourage your involvement and support. You are hereby invited to a Service Provider Network luncheon on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 11:30AM-1:00PM, at the Boiling Springs Town Hall. Dutch lunch cost is $10.00.

On December 1, 2016, Cleveland County officially became a Certified Entrepreneurial Community®. This means we have resources ready and eager to support new business activity and can promote Cleveland County as entrepreneur - and small business - friendly. The Service Provider Network is a vital component of this program.

The focus of this our fifth quarterly meeting will be "Entrepreneurial Failures and Flops." We will hear from these successful entrepreneurs:

• Chris Monroe, Monroe Tire & Service

• Mary Renfer, Broad River Bakery

• Travis Walker, Walker Woodworking

• David Pharr, Pharr Technologies

• Kitty Hoyle, Wellington Hamrick, Inc.

They will share some of the challenges they faced during development of their business. They will also describe how they overcame these challenges to become successful.

Seating is limited and registration is necessary. Please RSVP to Bill Watson, President of the Cleveland County Chamber, to confirm your attendance and pay for your lunch (phone: 704-487-8521 or email: bill@clevelandchamber.org). If you have questions, you may contact Bill or Steve Padgett, Director of the Small Business Center (phone: 704-669-4146 or email: padgetts@clevelandcc.edu).
