Sharon "Shay" Fisher, 53, died August 18, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Ms. Fisher was born on December 5, 1963 in Mecklenburg County. She was a longtime member of Crowder's Creek ARP Church in Gastonia, NC. She was employed by the Dollar Tree until her retirement in 2016. Ms. Fisher was a vibrant and loving friend. She especially loved music and loved to dance. Though she encountered many obstacles in her life, her strength and determination to live a fun and happy life has inspired us all.

Ms. Fisher is survived by her family at Gaston Residential Services, Inc. Shay's housemates, Richard Anderson, Joey Gibson, Phillip Dellinger, and Blaine Adams will miss her most.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Pastor Stuart Fowler at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Crowders Creek ARP Church, 207 Crowder's Creek Church Road, Gastonia, North Carolina. Visitation will be at 3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Crowders Creek ARP Church cemetery.
