Sheila Clinton Falls, 67, of 348 Indian Springs Road, Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord April 7, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in York, SC, she is the wife of Donald Falls and a daughter of the late Forrest and Myrtle Whetstine Clinton. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. She retired from the Cherokee County School System where she served 36 years at Blacksburg High School in the cafeteria and many of those years she took care of our kids as the manager.
Left to cherish her memory are Donald, her beloved huband of 45 years; her son, Scott Falls and wife, Jill, of the Kings Creek Community; her daughter, Tamara Davis and husband, Alan, of Gaffney, SC; her granddaughter, Mackenzie Davis, of Gaffney, SC; her brothers, Dale Clinton, Tim Clinton and Johnny Mac Clinton all of York, SC, and Mark Clinton of Sharon, SC; her sisters, Sandra Rutledge of Cornelius, NC, and Dawn Duer of York, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceeded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5-7:00 PM, at Broad River Baptist Church. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2016, 3:00 PM, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with Revs. Ken Lane, Tommy Hope and Paul Rhyne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, they will be at the home.
Pallbearers serving are Michael Falls, Brian Falls, Tad Clinton, Steven Clinton, Tommy Hoyle, Robbie Falls, Chad Falls, Adam Duer, A. J. Duer and Tim Wisher. Honorary pallbearers will be the "Lunch Bunch".
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Broad River Baptist Church Mission Team, 419 W. Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC, 29702.
