Shelia Owens Hoyle, 68 of Casar passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Born in Burke County, on July 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Wofford Owens and Mozelle Grayson Owens. Shelia was a retired nurse and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Hoyle and two brothers, Dale Owens and Kevin Owens.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Hoyle; special son, Marty Newton and wife, Nicole of Casar; three special granddaughters, Shalla, MaKayla and Emma Newton; a brother, Tommy Owens of Hickory; three sisters, Wanda McIntyre of Shelby, Carolyn Edwards of Lawndale and Recca Hughes of Easley, SC; numerous nieces and nephews and fur baby, Charlie Brown.

A private graveside service will be held at Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
