Mrs. Surratt was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Ashley Bridges; maternal grandparents Jim and Mamie Ashley and paternal grandparents F. M. and Sallie Bridges.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Surratt of Shelby, daughter Danielle Denton of the home, special daughter, Morgan McNeilly of Shelby;  sisters Kathy Jones (Rodney Roseboro) of Shelby and Sandra Humphries of Shelby;  brother Scott Bridges (Zoe) of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother-in-law Jerry Jones of Shelby, 2 grandchildren  and numerous nieces and nephews.
