Shirley Ann Griffin, 80, of Shelby, died September 11, 2026 at White Oak Manor of Shelby. She was a native of Union County, born the daughter of the late Worth Guion Griffin and Flora Richardson Griffin.

Shirley enjoyed reading and Crime shows on television.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Griffin and her daughter, Elaine Holcombe.

Shirley is survived by her children, Brian Eller and Lori Teague (Wayne); grandchildren, Whitney Kelly and Jessie Little; great grandchildren, Noah Little and Claire Helms; and her sister, Phyllis Whitaker.

A private Graveside Memorial Service will be held at a later date by the family.
