Spencer Gene Dorsey, 46, of 205 E. Main Street passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at 263 Cat Square Road, Lincolnton.
Born in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Edward Eugene Dorsey and Sara Roberts Cline Dorsey. Spencer was a member of Lawndale Volunteer Fire Department and Upper Cleveland Rescue Squad.
In addition to his parents, Spencer was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Dorsey.
He is survived by his beloved life partner, Crickett Gantt of West Lincoln; son, Randy Dorsey of Lawndale; daughter, Bridget Dorsey of Lawndale; brothers, Eddie Dorsey of Bostic and Henry Dorsey of Shelby; sister, Margie Ann McCabe of Ohio and the mother of his children, Kim Bowles of Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 pm Monday at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eric Davis officiating.
