Stella Margaret Ashley Hess, 87, of Shelby passed away Thursday May 15, 2014
at Hospice Wendover.
Born April 18, 1927 in Roane Co., WV she was a daughter of the late George
Washingon Ashley and Lillie Mae Taylor Ashley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo
Early Hess and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Ray Hess of Lawndale and Ronnie Hess of
Henrietta; two daughters, Evelyn Parker of Blacksburg and Benita Hamrick of
Gaffney; sister, Maxine Alley of Michigan; nine grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Graveside Service: 2:15 PM, Saturday at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
Officiating: Rev. Allen Hall
Memorials: May be made to Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights
