Stephen Lee Blair, age 43, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee he is the son of Joan E. Bridges and stepfather, Mack Bridges and the late Ronnie A. Blair. He had worked as a claims adjuster for United Health Care prior to his illness. He served in the US Air Force as a Fuels Technician (P.O.L.). Stephen was an electronics guru and a true movie buff. He also loved to play tennis. He was a member of First Baptist Jacksonville, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Blanche Rose.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his brother, Daniel Blair of Shelby; grandfather, Reedie Rose of Shelby; aunt, Irene Honeycutt; special friends, Jim Howarth and family of San Antonio, TX and Melissa Davis of Weddington, NC.

Memorial Service: 2:00pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Christ Covenant Church

Visitation: Following the service at Christ Covenant Church Dining Hall
