Steve Allen Mitchell, 60 of 2715 Carla Drive, Shelby passed away Wednesday,
July 8, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System - Cleveland.

Born November 2, 1954 in Madison County, IL he was a son of Donald and
Carolyn Mitchell of Alton, IL and the late Sonja Eddings. He worked for
Farris Fab in Cherryville and was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Linda Hair Mitchell; a son, Michael
Hair of Spartanburg; three daughters, Michelle Hair Deese and husband,
Jonathan of Cramerton, Nicole Moretz of Gastonia and Savanna Greer and
husband, Brian of Omaha, NE; four grandchildren, Alexis & Kerrington Deese
and Aaron & Gabriel Hair; two brothers, Dwayne Mitchell and wife, Sheryene
of Minneapolis, MN and Jeffery Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; and three sisters,
Deborah Morris of Jackson, MO, April Mitchell of Godfrey, IL and Candace
Smith of Jackson, MO and brother-in-law, Roy Hair and wife, Claudia of
Cherryville.

Visitation: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday at Union Baptist Church

Funeral Service: 4:00 PM, Sunday at Union Baptist Church

Officiating: Rev. Michael Shumate

Burial will be private.
