Steve Joseph Greene, 62, of 709 Old Stubbs Road, Cherryville, passed away
Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde.
Born October 1, 1951 in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late George
Joseph Greene and Beatrice Louise Parker Greene. He was retired from Duke
Power after thirty years of service and also worked for the City of Shelby
for five and half years. He was a member of Plainsview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of forty four years, Susan Darlene Clawson
Greene, two sons & daughters-in-law, Chad & Sheila Greene and Jeff & Rebekah
Greene all of Lawndale, two grandchildren, Dustin Greene and Samantha
Greene, and two sisters, Patsy Lukowski of Iron Station and Peggy Turner of
Waxhaw.
Visitation will be 6:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday at Stamey Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center.
The funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home
& Cremation Center Chapel with Dr. Ernest Speagle officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
