Student orientation sessions in Cleveland County Schools will be held prior to the first day of classes on Wednesday, Aug. 25. Students new to the area who have not registered should call or go by the school they will attend as soon as possible. Parents and new students may meet teachers and visit classrooms during open house and/or orientation sessions set at these schools at these times:
Thursday, Aug. 19: Middle/Intermediate Schools
• Burns Middle: 6:30 p.m. (Grade 6 and new students)
•Crest Middle: 10 a.m. & 6 p.m. (Grade 6 only)
1-3 p.m. (New 7th and 8th-graders)
•Kings Mountain Intermediate: 4-6 p.m.(Grade 6 only)
•Kings Mountain Middle: 10 a.m. (Grade 7 only);
1:30 p.m. (Grade 8 only)
