Susan Elizabeth (Beth) Proctor

On June 19, 2021, Susan Elizabeth (Beth) Proctor, of 211 Jumping Branch Rd, Blacksburg, SC, passed away, at Atrium Health - Charlotte, due to short battle with ovarian cancer.

Beth was a graduate of Chester High School and York Technical College and was currently preparing to graduate from Limestone University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She worked for Heaven Sent Caregivers in Gaffney, South Carolina and was the personal aide to her younger sister Olivia Proctor. She was also working at the local Tractor Supply in York, SC as a customer service representative. She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sister working on their 4-H projects. In addition to spending time with her family, Beth was an avid reader and wrote personal short stories and poems.

Beth is survived by her father, Robert Lee Proctor and her step-mother Ann Love Proctor, her brothers William, Samuel and Andrew and her sister Olivia of Kings Creek, SC. She is also survived by her maternal grand-parents Homer Lee Oliver, Sr. and Carolyn Tennant Oliver of Chester. Her uncle Homer Lee Oliver, Jr (Amanda) of Chester, her aunt Rebecca Oliver Canupp (Troy) and their son Jacob of Chester, her uncle William Harold Oliver (Elizabeth) and their two children Tate and Peyton of Chester, her maternal step-grandmother Elaine Gibson Love and her step-uncle Robert Wesley Love of Kings Creek, SC.

Beth was preceded in death by her mother Angela Oliver Proctor and her paternal grand-parents Robert (Bobby) Proctor, Jr and Brenda Mahaffey Proctor of Chester. She is also preceded in death by her great-grandmother Mrs. Mattie Lee Oliver of Chester, and her maternal step-grandfather William Abercrombie Love of Kings Creek, SC.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, June 26 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow immediately at 2:00 PM, in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel, 400 W. Cherokee St., Blacksburg, SC 29702.
