Susan Terry Kennedy, age 57, of Oakland Road, Forest City, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville.
Born November 3, 1957 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Bill Terry and Sue Shires Terry. Susan was a graduate of Isothermal Community College and worked for PPG Industries for many years. She also worked for Absorba Manufacturing for several years as a seamstress. She was member of Robertson Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed motorcycling, camping and artwork.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Wood.
Survivors include her son, James Alvin Saine, Jr. and wife, Pam of Mooresboro; one daughter, Jessica Clarisse Kennedy of Elkton, Maryland; life partner, Donald Roberts of Forest City; brother, Billy Terry and wife, Sondra of Ellenboro; sister, Melinda Gossett and husband, Charlie of Mooresboro; three grandchildren, Ashley, Courteney and Trey.
Memorial services will be conducted at seven o'clock on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
