Susie Garner Strassburger, Loving wife, devoted mother, caring sister and proud grandmother, went to be with the Lord on June 3,2018 in" Spindale, NC after courageously battling a long term illness. Born in St. Louis MO, her family later moved to West Palm Beach Florida where she attended Forest Hill High School. She met her husband at "THE HUT" in 1970 and we're married three weeks later. They recently celebrated their 48 year anniversary. She was preceded in death by her father James Garner, Virginia Deloris Garner and Sister Nancy Zeilmann. She is survived by her beloved husband Raymond Strassburger and her three sons, Steven Strassburger, Cory Strassburger and Heather Kim, Eric and April Strassburger and her sister Genie Garner Van Santen, sister-in-law Robin and brother-in -law David Novak, son-in law Jack Daniel and two beautiful grandchildren Rylan and Emery. Susie will also be missed by her loving nieces and nephews and their children. A small memorial will be scheduled at a later date for family members.
