Tammy Joe Heath Allen, age 39, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home. Born in Cleveland County on January 2, 1977 she was the daughter of Billy and Gail Green Cochran. Tammy was a homemaker who devoted her life to her children. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hatley and Mildred Hull and Charles Green.

In addition to her parents, Tammy is survived by her seven children, Timothy Allen, Justin Allen and Victoria Heath all of Blacksburg; Chase Allen, Mandy Hamrick, Destiny Hamrick, and Jennifer Hamrick all of Shelby; a sister, Vickie Bowen and husband Eddie of Shelby; two brothers, Charles Heath and wife Amy of Conway SC. and Denis Heath and fiancée Heather of Kings Mountain; granddaughter, Jaylen Heath and fiancée, Keith Marlow of Shelby.

Graveside service will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. John Heath officiating at Grover Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the home of Vickie and Eddie Bowen, 828 Pleasant Drive, Shelby NC from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
