Ted Ervin Grayson, 80, of Shelby, NC, died Wed., Jan. 14, 2015, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late John Avery and Janet Oveda Price Grayson. He served in the Army and was a member of the Shelby Exchange Club, Westwood Heights Baptist Church, where he was in the Men's Sunday school class, and a former deacon at Dover Baptist Church. Ted retired from the US Postal Service.

PRECEDED: In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Allen Grayson

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Elizabeth "Lib" Scruggs Grayson, of the home; daughters, Donna Sammons and husband Greg of Taylors, SC, and Kathy Sparks and husband Alan of Lawndale; brother, Ken Grayson and wife Helen of Shelby; grandchildren, Beth Ussery of Greenville, SC, Shelby Lalani and husband Travis of Greer, SC, and Elizabeth Ann Sparks of Lawndale; great-granddaughter, Autumn Ussery; two nephews; five great-nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Saturday, 2PM, at Westwood Heights Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday, 12:30-2PM, at the church, and other times at the home.

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
