Born June 5, 1964 in Cleveland County, he was a supervisor at Keystone in Cherryville.  He was a member of Cooksville Masonic Lodge #502 and was a Shriner.

He is survived by his father, Charles Deveney of Cherryville; his mother, Nancy Cash Clark and husband, Nelson of Lincolnton; wife, Lisa Miller Deveney; daughter, Kelsey Deveney of Vale; two brothers, Mark Clark of Lincolnton and Roger Deveney of Cherryville; and a sister, Roxanne Stiles and husband, Bryan of Boiling Springs.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, Sunday at Hull’s Grove Baptist Church, Vale.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 5:00 PM, Sunday at Hull’s Grove Baptist Church, Vale with Rev. Marcus Redding officiating.
