Gaffney -- Teddy Walter Dean Cody, 70, of 737 Lowery Road, Gaffney, passed away Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Gaffney, Mr. Cody was the son of the late Robert Loyd Cody and Nellie Blease Moss Cody. He worked as a millwright in the textile industry and attended Abingdon Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Mr. Cody is survived by one brother, Leonard Cody of York and one sister, Gaynell Donald of Cowpens. He was preceded in death by brothers Robert L. Cody, Jr., Charles Edward Cody, and Odell Allen Cody, Sr.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 18th, 2013 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm at Abingdon Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at Abingdon Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Draytonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Donald, Tommy Boheler, Allen Cody, Christopher E. Cody, and Ronnie R. Cody.
The family will be at their respective residences.
