Mrs. Teresa Brooks Anderson, age 55, passed away at her residence on October 22, 2013.
She was a daughter of the late Melvin Luther Brooks.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Anderson; her mother, Elizabeth Brooks; two sons, Jessie Anderson (Teresa) and Phillip Anderson (Sabrina) all of Gastonia; one daughter, Katrina Anderson Boyd (Scott), Gastonia; ten grandchildren, Jessie Anderson, Austin Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Brandon Anderson, Savana Helms, Keith Necessary, Shane Necessary, Cole Hamrick and Chance Boyd; one brother, Melvin Brooks, Anderson, SC; two sisters, Patsy Pope of Belmont and Wanda Corn, Mississippi and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sparrow Springs Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC, at intersection of Sparrow Springs and Lewis Roads.
She was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Her hobbies were building computers and helping others.
