Teresa Ward Mintz, 68, passed away Wednesday February 8, 2023 at Cherokee Medical Center.

Born in Gaston County, NC, she was the wife of Wayne Mintz and the daughter of Patricia Polk Ward and the late Forest Ward. Teresa formerly worked as a respiratory therapist at Presbyterian Hospital (Novant Healthcare) in Charlotte, NC. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Surviving Mrs. Mintz in addition to her husband and mother are her son Joseph Mintz (Savanna) , Grandchild Carson Mintz of Blacksburg, two brothers, Hank and Jeff Ward of Lincolnton, NC and sister Schanda Ward of Lincolnton, NC.

Mrs. Mintz was preceded in death by her father, and brothers, Mike, Eddie, and Johnny Ward.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 3:00 - 4:00pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm with the Rev. Vernon Craig officiating.
