Mr. Terry Lynn Childers Sr., 62, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 1st at his residence.

Born in Cherokee County, he was the husband of Sarah Yarbro Childers and son of the late James Coleman Childers and Lillie Mae Martin Childers.

Mr. Childers was a member of Kings Mountain Church of God and previously worked for Hoertz Celanese.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Otis Childers.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Childers, a son, Terry Lynn Childers Jr. and wife, Brittany, of Kings Mtn, a daughter, Heather Danielle Childers of Kings Mtn., a sister, Hazel Allen of Gaffney, brothers, Zanie Childers of Gaffney, Larry Childers of Chesnee, Howard Childers of York, and one Grandson, Nash Alexander Childers.

Services will be private.
