Terry S. Stacy, 81, of 120 Mountain Valley Rd, passed away on Monday, October 17th, 2022, at Cherokee Medical Center.

Born in York, SC, he was the husband of Carolyn Putman Stacy of (62) sixty two wonderful years and the son of the late Leonard and Reitha Wisher Stacy. Terry formerly worked for Fashion Engraving and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg. He worked at Gordon Mortuary for many years and served in the South Carolina Army National Guard.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Stacy is survived by a son, Eric, and wife, Dena, and a grandson, Brayden Stacy.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Eric Sellers officiating. Interment will be at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Brent Gregory, Ray Bailes, Tim Rape, Jimmy Pruitt, Dennis Jolley, and Grayson Jolley will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason McCraw, Greg Putman, Jim Miller, Greg and Bradley Newton, and Mitchell and Jeremy Putman.

The family will be at the residence.
