Thelma King Sain, 86, of Hickory and formerly of Belwood, died Wednesday,
October 19, 2011 at Brian Center East in Hickory.
Born February 17, 1925 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
James Walter King and Della Towery King. She was retired from Carolina
Associates as an inspector and was a member of Bingham Memorial Evangelical
Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack
Walter King; son-in-law, Dave Phillips and sister, Ola Mae Davis
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Phillips of Hickory; three
grandchildren, Tim Stamey and wife, Becky, Robin Terry and husband, Dooley
and Janet Laastad and husband, David, five great-grandchildren, Dustin
Stamey, Jessica Little, Chris Laastad, Lea Gryder and Chad Laastad; four
great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy McNeely of Belwood and
Ruth Williams of Belwood.
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM, Saturday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 2:30 PM, Saturday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston

Burial: St. Peter's United Methodist Church Cemetery
