Thelma Parker Ham

Thelma Parker Ham, 90, of 126 Ninety-Nine Island Road, passed away on Sunday, July 25th, 2021, at her home.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the wife of Boyd Ham and the daughter of the late Cletus McKinley Parker and Theresa Peeler Parker. Mrs. Ham retired from textiles and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ham is survived by one son, Jamie Ham and wife, Summer, of Blacksburg; two daughters, Cindy Bisby and husband, Bobby, of Blacksburg and Rita Copeland and husband, Alex, of Gaffney; one brother, Lewis Parker of Benton, AR; one sister, Carolyn Stewart of York; eleven grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Jase, James, Harley, Michelle, Michael, Silas, Julia, Alex, and Amy; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Leroy, Travis, and Lamar Ham; a grandson, Adam Stroup; six sisters, Rena Martin, Amelia Zebroski, Theresa Davis, Lois Beaver, Cecil Davidson, and Geraldine Martin; and two brothers, Dwight and Curtis Parker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Bolin and Rev. Roger Ham officiating. Jeff Martin, Alan Martin, Stanley Zebroski, Keith Manning, Danny Ham, and Steve Parker will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
