Thomas Daniel Swink, 17, of 122 Cutter Court , Lawndale, passed away
Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his home.

He was born in Cleveland County on November 29, 1998 to Billy Daniel "Bubba"
Swink and Angela Richard Swink. He was a junior at Burns High School and a
member of New Bethel Baptist Church and the Burns FFA. Daniel was also
employed at Stagecoach Hardware. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.
Daniel loved antique tractors especially Farmalls and loved tractor pulling.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vale Thomas Richard whom he
was named after.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Madison Swink of the
home; grandparents, Chris Marshall of Lawndale, Phyllis Richard of Lawndale,
and David and Ruby Dills of Shelby; four uncles, Rusty Dills of Waco, David
Dills, Jr. of Shelby, William Swink of Waco and Scott Richard of Lawndale;
aunt, Juanita McNeilly of Shelby; and three special friends, Talon Howell,
Devin Johnson and Drake Creson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 PM at
New Bethel Baptist Church, Lawndale. Condolences may be made online at

The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at New Bethel Baptist
Church with the Dr. Tim Elmore officiating. The burial will follow the
service in the church cemetery.

Mission Readiness Fund, PO Box 5, Lawndale, NC 28090.
