Cherryville - Mr. Thomas "Tom" Erby, 78, passed away on Saturday, May 26,
2018 at Carolina Continued Care in Kings Mountain.

Tom was born in Cleveland County, NC on June 18, 1939 a son of the late
William Thomas Erby and Amy Loretta Dover Ware. He was owner and operator
of Painting by Erby and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bessemer
City. Tom enjoyed fishing, going to auctions with his friends, spending
time with his family and most importantly going to church and serving his
Lord and Savior.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda Mayhew Erby of the home; a
daughter, Melissa Erby of Cherryville; two grandchildren, Hunter Weatherford
and Logan Erby; a sister, Margie Wright of Cherryville and a nephew Rick
Ware.

Services will be held at a later date.

Courthouse Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.
