Timothy Marvin Echols, age 62, resident of Kings Mountain, NC entered his heavenly home on April 21, 2016 at Peak Resources, Cherryville, NC. He was born in Jackson Co. GA to Winona Vickery and the late Seabron Marvin Echols. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, he was a teacher and coach at several different schools over the years, including Ashbrook High School, Kings Mountain High School, Kings Mtn. Intermediate and Middle Schools, and Forestview High School. Mr. Echols taught math, computers and physics. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where he served as a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, choir member, and on various committees. He was also a former member and officer of the Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department. Tim enjoyed golf, fishing, reading and most of all spending time with his family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Peak Resources, Cherryville, NC for their loving care.
