| Todd Neely Bailes, 41, of 1590 Kings Road, Shelby, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was an electrician and painter for David Bridges Construction and Danny Ayers Painting Service. He attended Burns High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Neely Bailes.
Mr. Bailes is survived by his mother, Brenda McSwain Haynes and step-father Jimmy Haynes of Shelby; sister, Kim Bailes of Shelby; step-sister, April Pettijohn of Shelby; girlfriend, Tracy Bass; and special friends, Natalie Champion, Summer Reid, Noah Champion and Lane Champion.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Tony Sisk will be officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. At other times the family will be at the home of Jimmy and Brenda Haynes, 808 Borders Road, Shelby and Tracy Bass, 1590 Kings Road, Shelby.
