Mrs. Tois Hazeleen“Cricket” Bridges Wright, age 68 died Sunday January 13, 2013 at her home. Born in Cleveland County on June 6, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Talmadge McBride and Laulie Hazeleen McMurray Bridges. She was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening, cutting grass and working in her flowers. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Bridges and Earl Bridges; and a brother-in-law, Clarence Wright.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband of 44 years, Earl Wright; a daughter, Linda Wright; five sisters, Ruby Cabiness of Crouse, Norma Curry of Grover, Lois Williams, Nicey Barber, and Audrey Toney all of Kings Mountain; and a granddaughter Brittany Wright.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at Allen Memorial Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Pastor Joe Riley and Robbie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 15 2013 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.
