Blacksburg -- Tony Glenn Hambright, 58, of 1132 Ninety-Nine Island Road, passed away Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late George Frederick Hambright and Iris Ann Fowler Bland. Mr. Hambright worked as a mechanical engineer and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, SC.

Surviving Mr. Hambright are one brother, James Hambright and wife, Kay, of Blacksburg, and two sisters, Janet Guyton and husband, Tony, of Gaffney and Terri Horton and husband, Bobo, of Grover.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jamie Billings officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CKC Fire Department, 984 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702 or Nazareth Baptist Church, 1156 Ninety-Nine Island Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.

The family will be at the home of Jimmy Hambright, 1132 Ninety-Nine Island Road, Blacksburg.
