Troy Donald Cash, age 73, of Forest City, NC died Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.

     Troy was born September 16, 1939 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Troy H. Cash and Nell Ingle Cash.  He worked for Michelin Tire for 24 years before his retirement.  He was a longtime member of Arrowood Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman. 

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Dean Cash.

     Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Selena F. Cash; one son, Michael Cash and wife, Rita of Forest City; two daughters, Debbie Conner and husband, Charlie and Karen Denise Holubek and husband, Mike all of Forest City; two sisters, Janice Lussardi of Brownstown, Michigan and Kathy Covington and husband, Jimmy of Ellenboro; two nieces, Amanda Covington of Fort Mill, SC and Lisa Workheiser of Flat Rock, Michigan and one nephew Craig Lussardi of Pelzer, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robert Harris and Reverend Mike Cash officiating.  Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  At other times they will gather at 168 Countryside Drive, Forest City.
