Vera Ann Rumfelt, 67, 1400 Ninety Nine Island Road, Blacksburg, SC, died October 23, 2012 at Medical University Hospital of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. Born in Cherokee County, she is a daughter of the late Walter and Essie Wright McDaniel.
She is survived by her son, Tim Rumfelt and wife, Xiomara, of Greer, SC, and her daughter Crystal Rumfelt of the home, and her sister, Genevieve Valdes of Gaffney, SC. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters - W. T. McDaniel, J. C. McDaniel, Glenn McDaniel, Morlee McDaniel and Alberta Elrod.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Friday, October 26, 2012, 3:00 PM, graveside at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. At other times they will be at 957 Overbrook Drive, Apt. J., Gaffney, SC.
