Vera Sanders Black, age 98, resident of 107 Monta Vista Drive, Kings Mountain, NC passed away on December 25, 2014 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC  She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late William Arthur Sanders and Carrie Moss Sanders.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn “Bill” Ware Black and 4 sisters and 5 brothers.  Mrs. Black was formerly employed with Mauney Mills and retired from Parkdale Mills, Kings Mtn. NC.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, dancing, and having a good time.  She was affectionately known to everyone as “Granny”
