Vernon Edward " Eddie" Rice, age 62, a resident of 127 Watterson Road, Grover, NC, entered the gates of heaven Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Frank and Sue Hope Rice. He was also preceded in death by his grandson Christopher Marr and Father in Law Marshall "Coot" Camp and Mother in Law Doris Morrison Camp. He was employed by Ozburn Hessey Logistics. He was an active member of the New Buffalo Baptist Church where he was a deacon, greeter, Sunday school director, choir member and gospel singer for the Rice Family Southern Gospel Singers.

VISITATION: Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain 6:00 to 8:00 PM and other times at his home.
