Vickie Sellers Lowman, age 70, of 307 Springhill Lane, died May 9 2014 at Caromont Medical Center Gastonia. Vickie was born April 18, 1944 in Gaston County a daughter of the late Franklin Cline and Mazel Pauline Brown Sellers. She was retired from Schrum Mfg. had attended Anthony Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Frankie Sellers and Billie Ann Sellers and brother Ronnie Sellers.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Cline Lowman (Patricia) of Lincolnton, Jeffery Lowman of Maiden, a daughter Tracy Simmons of Cherryville, four grandchildren, Jeffery Matthew Lowman, of Winston Salem and Hannah Faith Philips, of Cherryville, Jennifer Abernethy of Hickory and Shannon Wingate, of Lincolnton, two great grandchildren, sisters, Patsy Mitchem of Lincolnton, Shelby Sneed of Lincolnton, Sherry Drum of Cherryville, Penny Goins of Lincolnton, Kimmie Heavner of Lincolnton.
Funeral service will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 7:30 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services in Cherryville with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:15 prior to the service at the funeral home.
