Mr. Vincent Lopez Huskey was born on April 21, 1960, to the late Rev. Johnny Browner and Dorothy Huskey in Shelby, North Carolina and departed this earthly life on January 4, 2026.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Johnny Browner and Dorothy Huskey; and brother, Ronald Browner.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Robin Middlebrooks Huskey; children, Pamela Huskey, Brandy Huskey (Maurice Gidney), Belon Huskey, Jatannia Middlebrooks, and Derrall Middlebrooks (Khadijah Watson); grandchildren, Serenity Huskey (Aaron Hill), Kunyjha Surratt, Zaybreun Gidney, A'Kyra Toms, Emonyia Baker, Damir Baker, Sean Middlebrooks, Zamora Middlebrooks, and Nyla Middlebrooks; great granddaughter, Skylin Hill; and godchildren, Cierra Boykins Jones (Jack) and Eli Littlejohn (Yolanda). He is also survived by his siblings, Lisa Hartgove, Eric Hartgrove, Danny Browner, Debra Browner Lee (David), Ricky Browner (Monica), Rev. Franklin Huskey, Melissa Hopper (Alvin), Monica Huskey Feaster (Paul), and Lisa Huskey London; seven sisters-in-law, Debra Ramseur, Brenda Phelps (Ronald Goode), Sherry Allen, Melisa Phelps Phillips, Tamara Phelps, Vanessa Phelps, and Sheriah Phelps; best friend, Danny Allen; special friends, Clayton and Annie McClain; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church. Burial took place at the church cemetery.
